Episode 0238: good day...but i forgot to record!!!!
2 days in a row I've forgotten to record my exploits, so this is no good for a full story :/
Two days of awesome looting in despise, spawn has been very busy lately. Yesterday I was present for two spawns, i couldn't get a steal
off (he was rolling two characters at once, one was doing all the world, the other was in llama form nearby, he takes off running as
soon as boss is down while earthquaking and having his dragon guard him on the other until the protector gets safely to town). I did
manage to scoop up every last piece of gold on the first one, and about 90% on the second one. I didn't have a bag of sending on me
for the first spawn so i was hiding it over by the trolls until i went to bank and back. Very confused when he came back to actively
controlling his tamer and saw all of the gold gone. Second time down he was a little more on guard but I was still able to grab most
of it. A nice 400k gold in the span of an hour.
The better story is today though, there were quite a few people down there (at least 4-5). Most notably Diablo, Cyst, and Perrywyn. I
stayed around, avoiding detection the entire spawn (not easy on a small platform with three people on it on any given time). Barracun
was just about to fall...and Davy runs in and starts killing everyone. Heh, makes my job easier. Barracun falls while pvp is still
happening, and i proceed to loot all the gold (nobody seemed to notice at first). Davy had a helper there though, and he managed to grab
quite a bit, i got maybe 80k of it, not too bad. Next was looting everyone's bodies as carefully as possible, not much of use, all i
risked taking was a very nice imbued ring and a few powerscrolls. Waited off the two minute timer in the star room...Davy followed me
in but i managed to hide and stay away from him until he gave up and went in the gate. (i had already snooped him and his pal anyways,
nothing i wanted...). Hopped the gate back to luna...
And there's the group that was just doing the spawn (looks like my looting isn't over yet). I quickly bank my bag of sending and DCI
jewels, powerscrolls, and loot from peoples bodies, and start snooping around. Most had already banked their scrolls, but Cyst was busy
talking with diablo and still had them. Checked them out quickly, all 110's but still, might as well, snatch a 110 stealing and quickly
hide around the corner. I walk back into the bank, and Cyst is asking around if anyone looted a high luck, 3/1 ring. I check my bag of
goods that I "saved" after the pvp, and sure enough I had it. I revealed and let him know, and got a nice 30k check for my troubles in
saving it for him.
2 days in despise total:
~510k gold and a box full of 110 scrolls
Not too bad, they should do spawns more often!
[I was sort of notified of this going on by Diablo screaming over general chat "Perrywyn reveal I'll protect!" over and over...and
figured there was only one spawn I've ever seen Diablo in before. If it wasn't for those tasty little bits of information I'd love
to turn general chat off...to be honest it somewhat ruins the game.]
[Jewel was sold back to Cyst (for the 30k check) but here's the gold and the scrolls.]
