Well, last night was a night that I thought would be rather boring. I had gone to my normal hunting grounds and found nobody that wanted to play so I decided that I wanted to go create some fun of my own. So I headed out to the moongates to see if there was anyone there to play with. To my pleasure, this is who I found COS, a friendly little guild that 7 of its members had decided to venture out into the cruel world. While sitting at the gate, I overheard them talking about sweeping the island of Moonglow from the west side and around the island's perimeter road back to the gate. It is my guess that they were looking to play NotoGuild for the night, so I decided to see what kind of tools they brought with them for their hunt.
After snooping the group, I noticed that one of the fine lasses had brought a number of fine magic weapons. Not high value weapons, but enough that might cause an unfortunate soul to get hurt so I decided that I would have to rid this world of these ungodly instruments of destruction.
I know, I know, it is only a might axe, but that is not the point...the point is that she had it and I wanted it, so I took it. Any who, this was the start of a wonderful adventure. You see, this guild is an honorable guild that looks out for their own, and after I pilfered this axe, the chase began. Here are some of the highlights.
Well, as seen in the next few shots, you can see that I finally got hidden and was able to heal up and bank the loot, (no matter what, never, and I mean never, give a mark the enjoyment of taking back their goods off of your corpse, even if that means dumping the loot in the woods where nobody will ever find it).
Back to the hunt...after my banking transaction, I circled back around the island to get to a good hiding place so the guild would run right into me, (this allows the guild to walk past and allows me to snoop their packs without having to show myself...*note to self...stealth would be a nice skill to have*
As I suspected, the guild had decided to continue with their hunt after they had been lost but I was only able to snoop one of the party...and go figure, I was noticed snooping, but not reveled...*another note to self...work on getting snooping up to GM*
Hehe, although noticed, I think I confused poor Marleena...
but what is this...she too has weapons of mass destruction...I can't have that, well, let me reword that, I MUST HAVE THAT...
...but Marleena didn't like that so she decided to create a little macro for my return...unfortunately she needs to learn when to use it...
...haha, out of harms way in the nick of time...
...well, now that the guild had tired of my antics, one of their mages decided to hide his comrades by casting invisibility on them so I could not get to their...(erm, MY), goods...so I decided it was time to turn my attention to him...
...ahhhhh, much better...now I can see everyone again...but now the guild had made its way to the island teleporters so I figured I would follow them into town to see what they were planning...
...once we got to town, COS regrouped and we had a little discussion...most of which we did not see eye to eye on...
...but there were some that we did agree on...(note the conversation the others were having...I think they may have been commenting on me manhood...I think I should have called a GM)
...poor Velvet, (she was the first mark from the group), she was not very happy with me, but I did find out about someone that must be a really good guy...
well, the group jumped into a gate, but I was wondering something, so I followed to wish them the best...
...now I had a little hunch, so I decided to see if it was true...
