I had the honor of meeting an up and coming thief on Siege Perilous. Kros started out like many of us, reading the stories our antecedents had written full of awe and envy. Judging by his clothing he was “fresh off the boat” but with some spit and elbow grease will soon climb in notoriety. But for the meantime, the recruitment ceremony must be honored. The first step was administering the two-pronged test for infiltration:
