Oh what a wonderful place Swag Central Station is, a humble thief never flags on a steal and everyone forgets to insure their items. Swag Central Station, it's a wonderful fancy, a fleeting daydream. The Reality is Yew Gate is about as close as you can get to this wonderful myth where you rub shoulders with murderers and tamers and their stinking pets. Where you stumble over stealth archers every few steps, this is where I earn my living, this is where I bring humility, this is where I'm a THIEF.Now you can't see him in that image, he was heading off screen but Paul is foolishly carrying a rather nice Bracelet, +11 Eval, +14 Tactics FCR2. A rather nice ring to be so careless as to not insure it. I was worried about snooping the box he carried as he dotted back and forth, and considered myself lucky to even get his pack open, but I'm glad I did!

It being early in the day I knew that the best would be out either, having not gotten enough rest I decide to take a few hours out and rest.
Back later, I find a few individuals the night is still young but I'm already seeing good things. Lacy Peterson has a pack containing some uninsured armor. She fidget too and fore, back and forth, up and down, I've not yet gotten to delve to the bottom of her pack and pouches. This one just won't stand still! Out of frustration I take the next thing that prevents itself which happens to be a pair of Barbed Leather Leggings with horrible resists......Back to the waiting game, preparing and waiting on folks to run by or aligning myself along their routes and popping open their packs looking for something of interest. About an hour had past when something oddly strange happens. A Lumberjack shows up at Yew Gate, Not a warrior with an axe but an honest to goodness, non-bot lumberjack. He proceeds to chopping a tree, and I proceed to snooping his pack. I wasn't to be disappointed, here was a Christmas Box, still containing all the presents including an Icy Patch!!
I wasn't going to let this rare treat pass me. I reach in and grab the 5 stone patch of enchanted ice and flag criminal!
I make a break for the trees and houses, and 2 people begin a pursuit. I get hit almost immediately by a paralyzing blow, and thinking I'd be an easy kill the thug dismounts his dread war horse and sends it in to attack. It leads off with a Magic Arrow and I'm off again, cutting through trees with the evil horsey not far behind. I fail time and time again to assume wolf form, my health starts to dip and I make a break around the corner of a house and hide! Breaking the lock of the mount I continue running before it's owner can arrive and try to reveal me and finally assume animal form. The chase was over I had one, the Icy Patch was mine!
I wait till my flag wears off and make my way back to the gate, after a while someone named Hunter appears to survey the bloodshed and warfare around the area. I quickly shadowjump to his side and snoop to find yet another Icy Patch!...Well inside the Guard Zone this one would be risky but I had to try!Sweet success, finally the development team gives a holiday gift even a thief can enjoy in our own special way. I decide to call it a night even though the night is still young, so until next time cherish your valuables, because you never know where there will be a new thief in town.
