Bad news... Chapter IX DELAYED!... I traveled to LA for Christmas, and left my phone down there. What does this have to do with Chapter IX you ask? Well, my phone is a Treo 650, and the SD card in my phone contains the Chapter IX Word file. Easy to edit while at home or on the go. The phone will be mailed out soon (or maybe has been already.) I don't want anyone who reads this to have to keep on coming back and wonder when Chapter IX is going to be posted, so I'll just say come back January 3rd. That should be enough time for my phone to get back to me.
In short, Chapter IX will be up January 3, 2007. (The rest of this Volume will resume its bi-monthly schedule.)
I know there are some people that regularly read this, and I feel bad about not putting up Chapter IX on it's appointed date. It helps to keep me motivated knowing that there are people reading this. (I'd write it all anyway, but maybe I wouldn't be so strict on my self-imposed publishing date.)
Here's a bunch of stuff that may or may not tide you over in the mean time:
If you haven't noticed uothief.com, over the past couples weeks, there have been some changes to this section on The Magic Arts (& Crafts).
-- Chapter Commentary - Each chapter has a Chapter Commentary (by clicking on the Chapter heading)
-- Making of the Title Screen - If anyone cares to read it, there is a Special Features section up that has this first "Making of". Other Special Features to be added when ever I add them.
-- Glossary - If you want some form of story content, then this is what you'd want to read. This will have more additions to it by the end of Volume 1, but it's already past my minimum chapter length in word count.
And if any of you were wondering, Volume 1 will be thirteen chapters total. We're getting to the end... of the beginning.
And as always, feedback, comments, suggestions, critiques, speculation, etc. can be left at our forums.
