I like being a thief, I really do, if I can call myself a thief. My actual steals have become few and far between. Especially since REAL thieves in the guild have made the locals jittery and extra cautious lately.
But my bankbox isnt complaining, let me explain. You see at every spawn theres scrolls and gold. Usually the spawners take the scrolls and run, leaving huge piles of gold.So lately I have become more of a gold vaccuum then a thief, but is that so bad? Every bag I've snooped has crappy scrolls, 110's ,useless 115's , and the only 120 i've seen was a focus scroll. Yes, sometimes glory calls to me and I grab a 110(only to die), but theres that nagging voice that says "wait for the gold, its worth more then most scrolls".
At a normal spawn I can grab 50k+, at a harrower 300k+, no death, few risks.
But then again thats what makes stealing so great, theres a tons of ways to play a thief. Whether it be a Doom thief, assasin thief, looter thief, or plain old fashioned grab and dash thief!
