5.14: Champ Spawn Stealing
There are three different ways I steal scrolls in the champ spawn area.
- Human form: make the steal, change to wolf and run like hell.
- Wraith Form: make the steal, take a few steps, cast invisibility, take another step, hit shadow jump and jump away. (The invisibility spell will wear off, so you'll need to hit Hide again after you've gotten away).
- Ferret Form: Sometimes there's no where to run, and too many people. If done successfully, they'll never know what happened.
Other things to remember:
- Poison Fields will poison you, but if you bring a orange petal they will never reveal you. The damage you take reveals you (and even if you take damage from any source, it only has a *chance* to reveal you). Everyone will get a message that you are poisoned but it will appear in their bottom left corner (like party chat, guild chat, other messages). But you will still remain hidden.
- Paralyze Fields. Stepping into a paralyze field only has a *chance* to reveal you. Sometimes it's worth risking walking through multiple fields to break through.
- The animation of a shadow jump looks the same as the animation of smoke when the gold is being dropped when the champ is defeated. That's the best time to shadow jump. Targeting the gold itself seems to work better than targeting the land itself. If there is a victim standing next to a gold pile. Target the gold.
- The only people that get scrolls are the protector (which has to be blue and can't harm the champion) and other people attacking the champ. Choose wisely, you'll only get one shot.
