General Information
With Inscription, you gain the ability to craft 8 magical scrolls (1 spell from each of the 8 circles) and 51 different Spellbooks if you have the necessary reagents and Blank Scrolls to craft them.
Scrolls
To craft a scroll, the mage will need to be skilled enough in Magery to cast the spell, the equal level in skill in Inscription, a single Blank Scroll, the necessary reagents to cast that particular spell, and a Scribe's Pen. Here is the complete list of craftable scrolls in the game, and the skill needed to inscribe them:Spellbooks
To craft a Spellbook, all you need are 10 Blank Scrolls and a Scribe's Pen. There is no Magery or Inscription requirement.
Note: In my attempt to get rid of the grind gameplay, I introduced Spellbooks. You still won't be able to inscribe Resurrection Scrolls without sitting there clicking endlessly, inscribing scroll after scroll... but once you get your scribe, you'll immediately have access to all the 51 craftable Spellbooks in the game. I doubt many people will want to train Inscription for the scrolls, but at least your scribe is worth something.
Spellbook Properties
INT +5 - Self-explanitory. When a mage has a spellbook with INT +5 equip, their INT will be increased by +5. This stat is especially important to mages. INT is factored in when determining damage from magery spells.
Mana Regen 1 - This adds an additional 1 mana every 7 seconds to your normal Passive Meditation. This also stacks on top of your normal Meditation skill.
Lower Reagent Cost - This gives a direct percentage chance of not consuming any reagents when casting Magery spells. This property spawns on Spellbooks, Leather Skullcaps, Leather Armor, Leather Gloves, and artifacts. This property stacks with all other pieces that a mage has equip and it is entirely possible to have LRC 100% and never consume reagents. You can cast as many spells as you like without fear of running out of reagents.
