General Information

The Healing skill requires a single Bandage for each usage but at the cost of zero mana. At high levels, the Healing skill has the ability to heal a large amount of hit points, cure lesser, normal, greater, and deadly poisons, and even resurrect patients. The higher your Healing skill, the more hit points you'll heal and the higher levels of poisons you'll be able to cure.

Bandages

Bandages are very cheap. However, they are rarely sold by vendors. If you really want to train the Healing skill you'll have to get them on your own.

Bandages can be made from three types of materials: Cotton, Silk, and Wool.

Cotton must be picked from wild cotton plants, silk must gotten from spiders, and wool must be sheered from sheep (you'll also need a pair of scissors to sheer sheep). Then you must have access to a Spinning Wheel and Loom. You can turn a single pile of material into a ball of material with a Spinning Wheel. You'll then need to take three balls to a Loom to transform into a Bolt of Cloth.

Cloth may be needed by other people you encounter. But if it's Bandages you're after you'll need to equip a pair of Scissors, go to your menu screen and select the Bolt of Cloth from there. A single Bolt of Cloth can be turned into 50 Bandages.
