Hunger Level
Much like reagents for Magery spells and Tithing for Chivalry, Hunger is the limiting factor for the Cannibalism skills.
(Although, Cannibalism uses no mana.)
The way Cannibalism ties back into the UO universe is through Hunger. In the game, there are 5 different stages of Hunger:
- Very Hungry
- Somewhat Hungry
- Somewhat Full
- Very Full
- Completely Stuffed
Much like Passive Meditation, you'll naturally become more and more hungry while outside of battle. Each time you use a
Cannibalism skill, you'll be less and less hungry.
The Power of Hunger
Cannibalism skills are very powerful. Taste for Flesh is more powerful than a blow from a Valorite weapon. But because of
Hunger limited to 5 levels, even if you go into a fight Very Hungry, you'll only be able to use your Cannibalism skill a
maximum of 4 times per fight.
**Endless Hunger
There is one important exception to your Hunger Level and how your Hunger changes.
- The description on Endless Hunger will change depending on how hungry you currently are.
- No matter how stuffed you are, you'll always have access to the Endless Hunger skill.
- Endless Hunger does not change your current hunger level after each use.
- Endless Hunger is the only Cannibalism skill that damages all enemies.
