There are a total of 27 different potions and they all come directly from Ultima Online.>Empty Bottles
At first glance, they're just like any other item, but it's the use of bottles and empty bottles that makes them unique. Every time you drink potion (heal, cure, etc.) or make use of a potion (poison) the contents will empty and you'll be left with an Empty Bottle. Most of the potions come in three intensities: (1) Lesser, (2) [normal], and (3) Greater.>Chugging
Note: Lesser Explosion, Explosion, Greater Explosion, and Conflaguration Potions do not return an Empty Bottle. They are destroyed in the explosion.
Tip: Throughout the game you will come across Potion Kegs. You can't pick these up, but you can empty their contents into empty bottles if you have any available. Kegs can hold enough liquid to fill up to 100 potions, but you'll normally find them with 3-20.The term "Chugging" comes from Ultima Online. Before duels players will set rules for the duels. One of those rules ask if you get to "buff" your character before the duel. Agility Potions, Strength Potions, and Refresh Potions all give status effects that will carry into your next fight. You can drink the potions (chug) before you initiate a fight. This is a useful tequnique to use right before a difficult boss fight.
Note: It may take multiple tries for the potion to take effect.
Note: The Agility, Strength, and Cunning Magery Spells do not work this way.
Did You Know?: Agility, Strength, Refresh, and Poison are the only status effects that are not removed at the end of combat.
