What is Bone Armor?
There are four different pieces of Bone Armor in the game: Bone Helm, Bone Armor, Bone Gloves, and Bone Arms.
Skeletons, Bone Magi, and Bone Knights each have a 10% chance to drop one of these armor pieces and this is the only way to get these pieces in the game.What's so special about it?
The first time Bone Armor is available to you is during the fog scene after Dungeon Covetous. And while this armor is some of the best armor avaiable to you at the time, between the four armor pieces the real prizes are the Bone Gloves and Bone Arms.
Most Accessories do not have PDEF or MDEF properties and everyone but Endrick can equip the Bone Gloves. Bone Gloves are still valuable to you after better and better armor becomes available to you. You will eventually get more Accessories with very good properties, but if you need some extra resists the Bone Gloves are still useful. Bone Arms are even better.
Bone Arms can be equip to the Shield slot on everyone except for Endrick even though they cannot normally equip shields! In fact, besides artifacts, Bone Arms are the only piece of armor your non-shield weilding characters can equip in the game.
