>1.6: Into the Fog
After you've finally filled the bucket with water and released the door, you've made it out of the dungeon but are about to face something much, much, worse.
>Into the Fog
Strategy: You'll first be faced with 2 waves of Skeletons. Skeletons are very weak. But it's not their strength that makes them deadly, it's the numbers. Especially when you no longer have a mage in your party. When that happens, you tend to start counting Heal Potions.
Tip: Skeletons are weak against fire. A single Magic Arrow will take one down.
Strategy: Set Jack to attack one Skeleton and B.E.O. & Chad to attack another.
Tip: Each fight only starts with 2 Skeletons. If you can clear all of the current monsters in a fight, the battle will end before more can come.
[A] All of the Skeletons at these points don't move and they don't disappear if you defeat them in battle.
[B] The skeletons here will continue to approach you. If you act fast, you can make it inside the house below without getting into another fight.
[C] There's really no where else to go. Into the house. (I wonder if Jack is inside?)
[A] Save Point.
[B] Wandering Healer. Don't forget about the Art of Stealing & Snooping. Rule #1 says that it is easier to steal if their back is turned. You don't even have to distract the healer. Just move behind him and take his 7 Night Sight Potions.
[C] Public Stew.
[D] Talk to Old Man McCall. He'll comfort you about the skeletons and tell you, you're welcome to stay as long as you like. When you try to leave, he'll invite you to stay. Talk to him a second time to stay the night.
[E] So Jack is here after all. The door is locked and there's no way to get in.
[F] Inside the barrel in the corner of the room you'll find 7 Greater Cure Potions. You'll need these if you get hit with a Poisonous Touch (which carries Deadly Poison). That poison is too strong to cure with regular Cure Potions.
