Now it gets interesting. Multiple carts, multiple paths, and a strange old man is the only one who knows how to get out. But before he helps you, you have to help him. Get to work.
>The Forbidden Mine - West
[A] There are three carts that you can choose from. There's no particular order you have to go, but you'll eventually have to take carts [A] and [B]. Cart [A] is the fastest way to all the treasure.
[B] This cart takes you to the Dragon.
[C] This cart takes leads you to treasure, but it's the long way around.
[D] A chest with 5000 gold pieces, but it's just teasing you for now. Pay no attention now. You'll get it at the end.
[E] Use another Lesser Explosion Potion to break open this door. Inside you'll find 7 Lesser Explosion Potions, a forge, and an anvil.
>The Forbidden Mine - South[A] The right edge may fool you. This isn't the edge of a cliff. Just take another step to the right and you'll be on your way to slay the Dragon. But not yet. Not until you've talked to the old man.
[B] A chest with "7 Night Sight Potions".
>The Forbidden Mine - North[A] Down the ladder on the river's edge, you'll find 2 chests. One with a Power Crystal and another with a feathered hat.
[B] This cart will lead you to the Old Man.
[C] This cart will lead you back to the beginning.
>The Forbidden Mine - East / Old Man[A] Save Point.
[B] Wandering Merchant. Lesser Heal Potions, Cure Potions, Night Sight Potions, but no Lesser Explosions. You'll get no help with offense from him. Everything you brought in with you is all you'll have to slay this beast. Let's hope you've played smart so far.
[C] This cart will lead you North.
[D] This direction leads back to the beginning, but the cart jumps the track in the process. If you want to go back, you'll have to go North and go all the way around.
[E] This seems to be the cart to take out of this hole. It's got a padlock on it. For now, you'll have to do as the Old Man says.
[F] Go inside and talk to the Old Man.
Additional Information: If you go left towards [D] to the next map, you can clearly see there's another ledge with another ladder. You also know how to get there. You have to go back to the beginning and take the bottom cart.
