During my scamming days I scammed over 100 million gold, multiple server birth rares and houses of all sizes. I have never grinded in a dungeon for GP's. I was fifteen and would scam people the following ways:
  1. Find someone selling a server birth (or anything valuable) locked down in their house (usually in tramel so they couldnt stumble over my hidden character) and wait for them to unlock, and take it.
  2. Cross shard trade on tradespot (GPS, Items, etc) but use a fake email service to send the seller an email from an @tradespot.com address saying "I'll be at the brit inn as " and people wouldnt bother contacting the seller over tradespot or following up via email to see it was fake. I'd meet them at the brit inn as the 'tradespot broker' and they would never hear from me again.
  3. Offer an unbelieveable deal for < house > and chat them up like I know nothing about the game. Id say if they upgrade lets say, a large brick to an L shape (that I know wouldn't fit), I would give them an extra 10 mil because I didn't feel comfident doing it myself. Wait for them to drop while hidden and place.

I ALMOST scammed a castle in trammel but my plan was foiled right at the end because the tradespot broker knew the guy I was scamming. story:

A friend of mine ripped a guy off of 10 mil of stuff on tradespot on SP. He was trying to sell it as a lot and someone responded that they were interested for 40 mil on greatlakes. He met a tradespot broker to do the trade, the broker kept his items because the 'buyer' was the person he ripped off and told him about the scam. He gave the broker some sort of evidence and explained the scam so that the broker helped him. So this gave me an idea to do the same thing in reverse to someone else. I found a guy selling a castle, had him 'friend me so that I can confirm its his", took a screenshot of me in the castle and changed the screenshot in paint to reflect my characters name on the ownership menu. I waited a few days, contacted a tradespot broker advising I had been scammed out of my castle and sent him the screenshots. I told him that I was scammed by the fake email service that I had used in the past. He said he would help me get the castle back after reviewing the screenshots. He showed up and were ready to go when he noticed the seller was a guy he knew in game....

He was confused because he knew the seller was an honest person and asked me to call him at home to discuss.. I was 16 and didn't want to bother, so I dropped the scam.

At first I felt quite guilty about ripping off these people.. but thanks to websites dedicated to scammers and trolls such as GALAD - it made it easier. Don't worry, Karma eventually reered its ugly head. I thought I was being hacked and gave my account info to a friend of 10 years to change the pw on his machine so I could reformat. Took 3 hours, reformatted, logged in and all my stuff was gone. I believed I was hacked and all my characters were deleted.

Found out 6 years later that my friend was the one who took all my shit, sold it for real life money and deleted all my characters.
