Guide to Stat Gain

If you want to change your stats and don't want to mess about with your skills then here's how to adjust your stats easily.

The last publish changed things so that each skill has a primary stat and a secondary stat associated with it. Gaining, or potentialy gaining if at skill cap, in a skill gives a 1 in 20 chance to gain in that primary stat - with no daily limit.

So, to get the gains when at the skill cap (700-720), you need a skill at zero set to raised (even tho you won't really gain in it) with an associated primary stat you want raised and then spam that skill. Best skills are those that don't have a reuse timer.

Here are some suggestions. It assumes you have zero or very low levels of the skill:

INT
Arms lore. Unlikely you have any points in this so just arms lore a weapon or piece of armor repeatedly until you get INT gains. Just in case you have arms lore on your char then item identification is a good alternative.

STR
Best bet here is to use any of these skills you have at zero on a training dummy: wrestling, sword, mace. There is a swing timer on dummies so you might like to try spamming low-level bushido or chivalry spells instead, though you will need the appropriate book, tithing points and some mana regen.

DEX
Musicianship. Grab any instrument and make a horrible noise with it. Fencing on a training dummy is a good alternative. Or you can set focus to raised and do anything that will use mana and/or stamina.
