Tip #1: Macros

I have 4 main stealing macros. I use F9 - F12.

F9 (UOA macro): Use Item
I have a Someone's Dagger in my pack, you can use anything that brings up a targeting cursor. You can even use a skill but make sure it has a short timer. Snow will also work.

F10: Steal - Last Target
In game UO macro. Two lines. The first line is Use Skill Stealing. The second is Last Target. After you get close enough to snoop someone, first use F9 to get your target on Last Target. You do this because the second you hit Steal you'll be revealed. With this macro you'll minimize the time you'll be standing there like an idiot trying to target a small object.

F11: Steal
Sometimes you don't have time to get last target. Sometimes you just want to random steal a player.

F12: Last Object
This is your snooping macro. Open a players paper doll from anywhere on the screen. Double click their backpack. Their pack is now on Last Object. The next time you're next to them just hit F12 and their pack will pop (with gm snooping).
