The day began like any other, a snoop there a dirty look here and me blaming someone else for my own flatulence (Hint: always blame the guy that doesn't speak english).
In a quiet moment I take some time to go through my fan mail. "Incredibly handsome...", "courageous...", "a champion of the people...", "a powerful performance by the newcomer"; and then a plea for help, apparently some fiend was wreaking havoc on the local herds as well as vegetable patches, something about a night-time visitor in very tight shorts. I read further, too horrified at the descriptions contained within to look away; the writer however had hope that perhaps if a brave, handsome and courageous person could remove what he referred to as the "Seed of Life" from this young man then perhaps these horrifying visits would be at an end.
Knowing that such a fiend would not be able to pass on a certain bait, I present to you my trap: *pause for dramatic effect*The plan was simple:
1) Set the trap *check*
2) Don super thick dragon hide gloves to shield myself from "Seed of Life" *check* *check*
3) Make sure super thick dragon gloves are super thick enough *check*
4) Check gloves one more time *check*
5) Wait and grab
6) Wash hands thoroughly
The house fell and there in its rubble stood Duracell, he had come to the bait like a fly to a pile of poo...Something was wrong, my thief sense was tingling, was it... could it...
A wise man once said "be kind and rewind" but that's not really applicable here, what is applicable however is the notion that a battle can be won in an instant; a ghost moved in, distracting Duracell and I seized my moment, positioning myself perfectly I check my gloves one more time (you can't be too careful).
And the chase is onThen he has the cheek to snoop my pack, I mean that's where I keep my things; thankfully the mousetrap caught his fingers and he was done.
His "Seed of Life" safely removed, hopefully this young one will bother the locals no more.
