With me and Mr. Sly just about finished with some uninteresting busy work in town, we were about to pack it up and postpone any future evil plans... at least until later that evening.
Fate it seems, is not without a sense of humor.Norrar!
This isn't the first time I've spotted the odd looking purple and blue man. I caught him poking his face around town once before. (It seems my public posting was seen by many!) I was hidden then and I'm hidden now.
This time I decide to say hello in my own special way.He was surprised and strangely happy to see me. He says a few things, but I'm not really paying attention. I'm mostly just entertaining myself.
He was looking for me.
(But what for?)
And then he catches my attention in a way that has never failed before and it wasn't going to start failing now:He knows my greatest weakness.
(You're good.)It seems he wanted to join our merry band. But enough chit-chat, if Norrar was serious about this very serious and not-funny subject--

He'd better have the right answers to all the important questions.

Acknowledging the fact that my ego has been sufficiently stroked, I was in need of a second opinion.
The challenges were simple (and the same for every recruit), record your first two steals and let your steals speak for themselves (in episode form!). Simple enough to say... not so simple to carry out.
...And of course he 1-ups me again.It's decided then!
I grant him admittance on to the Recruitment Stone and wait for news of his great deeds to come to me.He runs off on foot to locations unknown. I might not know his destination, but I know one thing for certain...
...god help anyone who crosses his path.

What did I just witness? I turn to Mr. Sly and he shares my sentiments.
What have I done? What have I unleashed? His potential unlimited. His power absolute. After today, there would only be one innevitable truth:
Norrar would either out steal us all or would be a disaster like we've not yet witnessed.
